Glenn McDonald is a solo sometimes duo, sometimes trio, sometimes full band playing artist from Melbourne Victoria.
He started out his playing career in Gippsland playing gigs all around regional Victoria for the first few years. Honing his skills and building his library of original acoustic music he has since moved to Melbourne to pursue a career in music. Influenced by everything from jazz to funk, hip hop, rock and classical, he has succeeded in creating passionate music with a message that you can take in or just listen to.

Heavily influenced by recent acoustic artists such as the John Butler Trio, Xavier Rudd, Jack Johnson, and Incubus, and equally by such classic artists as Neil Young, Nick Drake, Mark Lizotte (Diesel), Crowded House and others, Glenn has been forging ahead with different styles and genres currently with numerous residencies around Melbourne. Glenn is currently a top ten finalist in the National Music Oz competition and Working on an EP for release before the end of 2006. With some great artists helping him on the way credit must be given to Dylan Hammond, Sally Tatterson, Andrew Sylvio, Jerome Phillips, and Troy Trigwell to name a few.
